DeBow Recreation Complex – Located on North Drive, at 2600 Thomas Street, DeBow Recreation Complex is a 20 acre community park, renovated in 2008 with 4 soccer fields, a restroom/concessions building, a community-built playground with ADA-swing, a 9-hole disc golf course, paved parking areas, and Troy Sowell Pavilion.  ADA accessible with parking.

Viewing locations are $30 for a 10′ x 10′ and visitors will receive 1 parking pass with each viewing location.  Check-in opens at 6:00 a.m. CT.  Upon check-in, guests can set up chairs, blankets, telescopes and any other items they would like to use to view the Eclipse. This viewing area will be equipped with permanent and portable restroom facilities as well as on-site food vendors.  If reserving multiple viewing locations, they will be assigned together.

As the August 21, 2017 total solar eclipse travels along its center line path, Orchardale, Shepherd Farm awaits the eclipse’s historic visit. Located in Christian County, northwest of Hopkinsville, Kentucky, Orchardale, Shepherd Farm is designated as the point of greatest eclipse. The farm offers open acreage and a rolling hillside field with an elevated view. Large groups welcome.
